Where To Find Gear

Lacrosse gear can be a challenge to find in the Shuswap area.

SMLA has tried to acquire some items (primarily sticks) at an affordable price that we are selling at our cost - see SMLA STORE

Here are some other places that have historically stocked lacrosse gear but we recommend that you call ahead to confirm:

Stores that sell lacrosse gear include:

• Sport Chek - Salmon Arm
  • Very limited stock of lacrosse items but some items like mouthguards, jocks/jills, etc could be purchased here
  • You can also purchase items online at Sport Chek and return it to the store in town if it does not work
• Sun Valley Source for Sports - Vernon
  • Fairly well stocked
• Dolson's Source for Sports - Kamloops
• Player's Bench - Kamloops

For Used/New Equipment, try to the following:

• Play It Again Sports - Kamloops
• Play It Again Sports - Kelowna
• Cosigner Sports - Kamloops
  • Lacrosse gear does not come out until March time frame
• Rogers Rink in Salmon Arm has a gear swap area, with used equipment that can be taken and used, with the intent you return it once you no longer need it. You should be able to get a hockey helmet and gloves there.  If you enter at ground level,  go into the larger spectator arena, and follow the bottom level around to the right you will find that gear swap area.  
  • This is mostly equipment for hockey but some of it could be used for lacrosse, especially in the younger age groups
